I had the Pho here, and it was ok. Not a great deal of flavor but just fine.

The food at Young's didn't live up to all of the hype, at least not for my family. I've tried the "Super Shrimp" on a couple of occasions and the shrimp was overcooked and underseasoned. The pho was so-so. Recently, we visited during off peak hours and had the unfortunate experience of hearing some of the bored staff discussing autopsies -- gross. :-/ Young's is not terrible -- just not my cup of tea, I guess.

I had a very good spicy soup with fish in it. I wish I could remember the name of it. They made it very spicy just as I requested. It was delicious and reasonably priced. Service was quick even with the restaurant being pretty busy at lunch time. We were seated and served quickly. They also have a nice big menu.

I'm new to the Ft. Collins area, and one thing on my list of things to do was to find a Vietnamese restaurant. This place was fantastic! I ordered the Pho and it was amazing! It was very tasty and I was almost sad that my soup was almost gone. I have yet to try other items, but from what I saw on the menu and the waiters bringing other people's food, it looked delicious! Especially their noodle bowls! Not to mention, the food comes with quite a lovely presentation! The only thing I would recommend is having Sriracha and Hoisin sauce on the table because I like to make my concoction of sauces!

I really enjoyed the food here. I haven't had the pho yet but their spring rolls are amazing. The staff is very nice and everything is fresh and delicious. One weird thing that I noticed. I am Korean and when I took my family here, they sat two old white patrons next to us. When the waitress asked what they would like to eat, they ordered. Then five minutes later, they asked for take-out and then left. Not sure why they decided to leave all of a sudden but hope it's not racism. :/

Decent Vietnamese place near CSU. Went with my family and family friends for lunch. I had a lemongrass chicken soup after reading through yelp recommendations. The soup was flavorful, tangy and spicy with a strong hint of lemongrass. There were generous pieces of white meat chicken floating around as well as pho noodles. However, the soup was fairly uniform, and I would have liked some variation in the form of fresh veggies. I got sick of the flavor profile pretty quickly. I wish I had tried the pho instead, which another person in our party got. We also got some appetizers to share, Vietnamese spring rolls and crunchy rolls. Loved the crunchy rolls, but the spring rolls were mostly skin and could have used more filling. The staff was friendly and the service was pretty fast. Overall, I would not go out of my way to come here again, but if I pass by I might.

This place has one of my favorite dishes in Fort Collins! I always get their rice paper wraps with BBQ pork. The meat is very flavorful and tender. I make so many rolls with the amount of they give me, and I always have plenty to take home for leftovers. I buy the same rice papers at any Asian mart (which are pretty cheap) so I can have fresh wraps at home. My vegetarian friend really likes the tofu version of this dish too. The gyoza (pork dumplings, whatever they call it) is also one of the best I ever had. And I'm from Hawaii, where this dish is really common! It's a little on the doughy side, which I really like. Not too oily either. My boyfriend usually gets the pho (traditional beef soup) at this place. He says it's not the best he ever had, but it is the best in Fort Collins. He likes the pho from Denver more. I never had a bad experience with customer service. I love the atmosphere as well! Kids love seeing the fish tank in the front. The art is also very pretty. Great place to go!

My wife and I were looking for some good pho in the area and saw that this place had four stars on yelp so we tried it and it definitely didn't disappoint. I ordered the traditional beef pho, my wife ordered the chicken pho, and we started with the shrimp spring rolls. All were awesome. The spring rolls came out promptly before the rest of our food which is great, and it tasted so fresh. The peanut sauce was more flavorful than the local peanut sauce I was used to in California which was a very pleasant surprise. My wife said the chicken pho was delicious...lol. The traditional beef pho was great. Everyone eats their pho differently...I put in about two tablespoons of hoicin sauce and like four tablespoons of siracha because it's all about the spice baby! It was great! Service was also great. The ambiance was very interesting in the restaurant. Not bad at all...it just seemed so fancy lol. Everyone dressed down of course, casually, like I would expect from anyone who wanted pho...but the restaurant was a little more classy looking than what you'd imagine a pho restaurant to be. Either way, it was cool. They had a nice full bar as well, but we didn't drink. So it's a good one stop shop to go with your friends for dinner and drinks if you're looking for such a place. Thanks for the food Young's Cafe! Loved the food.

Crystal Roll and a grilled pork bowl at Youmg's, Asian ambrosia. Inexpensive lunch with leftovers for later. Attentive staff, quick service, and good food. I even bumped into friends. All reasons to return.

Having grown up in Fort Collins and still having family/friends there, I've been patronizing Young's since the late 80s. Yep, I'm old! But it also proves that I've had great taste for years. Young's has been voted "best of" for many, many years and there's a good reason. The food is consistently delicious. The atmosphere is pleasing. And the service is always good. My favorite dish here is the Velvet Shrimp. It's shrimp in a creamy, mayo-like sauce served with peanuts and lettuce/cabbage. I'm not the kind of person that likes mayo on everything, but for some reason this dish just works so well and is absolutely fabulous. And, it even reheats well, which is not always the case for a creamy sauce. It's hard for me to stray from my favorite since I live in Denver and don't come here that often, but the other dishes I've tried over the years have all been delicious. And, it's worth getting an appetizer - yummy dumplings, shrimp wrapped in bacon, whatever. I seriously don't think they can make a bad dish here. And, there's a huge bin of fortune cookies by the door as you leave - you get to help yourself and pick the one you want.

My colleagues and I came to Young's to change it up from Saigon Grill. Many of us ordered the lunch super bowls with pork. They came with pork and one eggroll along with a generous amount of noodles and vegetables. The food was decent. Great things about this restaurant are the additional containers of fish sauce for those who love it and extra hot water for the Vietnamese iced coffee allowing you to have 2 cups of the strong coffee. The service is also friendly and the price is affordable. The place is quite large and can seat many people. All and all - it's A-OK. I would come for the coffee... but had higher hopes for the Vietnamese cuisine.

Good, affordable Vietnamese fare in a clean but casual environment. We stopped in for lunch after a CSU VTH equine appointment and it was perfect for a comfortable lunch stop. Service was friendly and quick. We all enjoyed everything we ordered, and we ordered diversely and for a diverse group.

My favorite restaurant in Fort Collins. Service is fast and staff is friendly and food tastes great. Do not miss the egg drop soup here (Served only on Wednesday and weekends). We come here so often, I wish they had a rewards program! :P

This place is the bomb! We had huge bowls of delicious pho for lunch the other day and loved it! The staff was super nice and patiently held open doors for my 95 year old grandma who was holding onto my arm. If I lived in the area I would be here every week.

Going in to this restaurant there were a lot of expectations and they blew them all away. The food and service was great even with a wait. Some of the best food in town!

Scene: Two people, outside a house, speaking in thick (probably fake) Italian-American suedo-gangster accents. No 1: "Hey, yous been up to Fort Fun?" No 2: "'Course, why?" No 1: "You get to Young's?" No 2: "Every freakin' time." It's the intersection of memories / history / hype / tradition / myth / great food. We love this place, where some of us have been going since college. Excellent Vietnamese spring rolls (the fried kind with the veggies). Nice ingredients, fresh food, great service. Some swear that the sesame chicken is their signature. Last time we were there, we managed to get several other great dishes (and two orders of sesame chicken). The 'kitchen fried rice' is good stuff too. You may or may not agree it's worth the occasional drive from Denver (your history / tradition / myth mileage varies), but this is a great place in Fort Collins. Check it out.

Our go-to place for lunch! Most everything is outstandingly good, but two things are exceptional, for my taste: 1. House tidbits. Found on the appetizer menu, this is an event more than a meal. For $11, you get two kinds of delicious grilled meat, tons of fresh and flavorful veggies and herbs like cilantro, Thai basil etc, Vietnamese egg rolls, chopped peanuts, wonderful peanut sauce and the Vietnamese clear dipping sauce, along with a package of rice papers. Dunk rice papers in the hot water provided for 5 seconds, drag along the ridge of the water container, lay flat on your plate, and proceed to fill with the delicious items listed above, in any combo you prefer. You will get plenty for lunch, and dinner most likely. Generous portions, and it's fun, fresh and so very flavorful. 2. Lemongrass chicken soup. Oh. My. Goodness. The broth in this soup is just spectacular. Great depth of flavor, with some salty/sweet/spicy goodness. If you're sick, just back from a workout, cold, whatever the case may be, this soup is just phenomenal. I've tried to replicate it myself, with no luck. Can't go wrong with noodle bowls either, but jeez, stay away from sesame anything - there is so much more to Asian cuisine!

    (5)
  • Tash K.

Very good food and quick service too. I've been here a couple times. I've had the crab rangoons, beef pho, and sesame chicken. I would say the Lemongrass chicken noodle soup and eggplant veggie dish have been my favorite so far.

I came here to investigate the Pho initially but after reviewing the menu, I am impressed. Lots of food to choose from including a pretty good seafood selection. The traditional Pho is decent but the rest of the menu is superb. Definitely a spot to go for seafood and the lemongrass seafood Pho!

I ate here with my husband while we were in town for a graduation. We came here based on the recommendation of my brother-in-law and the many positive reviews of fellow Yelpers. Big mistake. We couldn't figure out why people like this place so much. We didn't think there was anything special about this place. We split an order of dumplings which we could immediately tell were frozen and not homemade. They tasted exactly like the ones I buy at the grocery store when I'm feeling rushed and don't have time to make them from scratch. They were bland and tasteless. And the dipping sauce tasted like maybe it was soy sauce mixed with something else; not the sweet and yummy dumpling sauce we're accustomed to eating our dumplings with at better restaurants. For our entree, we split a stir fry dish called Hot and Spicy which we ordered with chicken. It came with mixed vegetables. It wasn't spicy at all and the chicken was a little tough. It was rather bland. Seriously, this isn't good Chinese food. I've had better fast food Chinese. I guess I'm spoiled living in Des Moines where there are so many great Asian restaurants. Fort Collins really suffers from a lack of good quality Asian restaurants, that I guess people who live here think this passes for good. Do not eat here. You will be sorry.

Came here for a lunch date with a coworker on her recommendation. Overall, it was good, but I wouldn't say stellar, at least for me. I may return, but I don't know that I would make a trip out of my way to come here again. The wraps my friend had were the best option - tons of food and good. My lunch special choice was ok, although there was nothing that stood out for me. The decor is old school and the service was decent. Parking is in a shared lot and was difficult to get during lunch, but they are right next to the Max so that may be a good option for getting to lunch without dealing with driving.

You can't beat Youngs. Their Tropical Island is my favorite dish on the menu! I also love their egg drop soup and sesame chicken. I have been going there for over 14 years and have had great service each time. Their lunch menu and pricing is very affordable for what you get. Youngs is my favorite restaurant.

I LOVE this place, and I visit at least once a month....2-3 times during the colder season. I have had a few things on the menu, but my go-to is the Lemongrass Chicken Pho. DELICIOUS!!!! It is unique and so flavorful with an undertone of lemongrass and spices. Their service is super friendly too. I usually order to go, and it's always ready on time. If you haven't been here, you are missing out!!!

This is the only place i can find in Fort Collins that has nice and delicious dishes resembling authentic Chinese cuisine. The place is spacious - great for groups. Service is good. Love the duck here

This was my second time at Young's Cafe. I typically go here for lunch it has great rice noodle bowls. I got the super shrimp bowl - it comes with grilled shrimp and an spring roll. Regarding the service usually the service is quite good, but the most recent time I went I was not impressed. All in all, this is a great place for lunch in The Fort.

I rarely feel the need to speak out about how great a restaurant is, but Young's deserves it. The food is amazing- best "oriental" in Fort Collins. The reason why I gave 5 stars is because the level of service is spectacular. I mean, it's basically on par with service you can expect at an expensive fancy sit-down. The greeters are attentive, smiling, and take their job seriously. Those characteristics have a large impact on the rest of the experience. You feel like you want to be there, and that the restaurant staff wants you to be there too, in the right way- for the great dining experience. I have been here only twice, and have yet to meet the manager, but when I do I will surely let him know what a great job his team does.

Visited Young's with my boyfriend as it is one of his favorite spots. Seated immediately by a attentive staff we started with Grilled Chicken Rice Paper Wraps. The fresh vegetables, chicken and peanut sauce were great! The rice paper was a little hard to soften because the water was so hot but that's the point. Next we both had lunch combinations which came with soup, fried rice spring roll and the main dish. The egg drop soup was good, the spring roll too fried for my liking and the fried rice good but I've had better. My main dish was Hot & Spicy Pork and the boys Sesame Chicken. Both were very good, especially the sesame. I enjoyed Young's a lot. I can't wait to try other dishes. The price and staff were on point. $29.00 included tip. Yum!

Great Sort of Asian fusion restaurant. Go for lunch and get the duck noodle bowl it's incredible and a lot of food for 8 bucks. They also have a pretty good drink menu for reasonable prices as well.

Youngs is a nice quaint restaurant tucked in the corner of a strip mall. I ordered the Crystal Rolls and they were just as good as any others I've had. Ordered the spicy lemon grass seafood soup. It was good. Couple of minor complaints and I see I'm not the only one. Wooden chopsticks? You don't use wooden chopsticks with soup. The soup spoon was metal. Very strange. The seafood, like any other place, frozen seafood medley you can buy at the store. Nonetheless, food good, service great. Can't wait to try other dishes.

  • Oliver L.

How did this place get 4 stars? They don't have Pho Dac Biet on the menu?! Every pho place has Pho Dac Biet! And when they give you a spoon for the pho, it's not a soup spoon. It's just a big spoon. No place in the spoon for the soup. I also got wooden chopsticks. I hate wooden chopsticks. So small and skinny. They cramp my hand. Also $7.95 is a bit pricey. Definitely not what's I'm used to for pho.

We went to Young's for lunch after a long morning at the flea markets. Our server was so sweet and cheerful, she made us feel right at home and was so on top of our water glasses, I don't think any if us got down past "half full." The food was absolutely scrumptious and I would highly recommend going. Delightful atmosphere and fantastic service!

Been here several times for my pho fix. The first 2 times it was delicious, but for some reason, the last time I went the food didn't taste as good. While it's good for Fort Collins, there are better, cheaper places in Denver. I'll probably still come by if I'm craving pho.

When I was in my early 20's, I ordered Young's take out so much that they knew my order and name just by the sound of my voice on the phone! Those days of spending all of my disposable income on one restaurant only are long gone, but Young's still delivers consistant greatness! I've gone through phases of food and everything I have ordered is fantastic. The sesame chicken (or tofu or veggies) is always good along with the Black Pepper preparation (I usually get the tofu). My current love is the grilled tofu super bowl with steamed veggies and spring rolls. The price is right (less than $10) and I always leave really full. The tofu is grilled with a fantastic sauce (it's the same sauce on the pork which is also really good) and the edges get a little charred crispy which I totally enjoy! The veggie spring rolls are crisp and the inside is really well seasoned. And the crystal rolls must not go unmentioned either. My friends and I just recently went and felt that our meal would not be complete without an order, ok two, of the crystal rolls. The peanut sauce is divine and I would eat it with a spoon! Overall, this is a really good and friendly place that I will still happily come to after all these years!

Love Young's. live in Wyoming and go out of my way to go to Young's whenever I get to Fort Collins, however yesterday I stopped to get some Lemongrass Pho to go but the serving was half of what I normally get, and there were no greens...highly disappointed. Of course didn't realize it until I got home (60 miles away).

Flaming soup and crystal rolls are my main dishes but you really can't go wrong here. The service is excellent and the food is outstanding. They have been in town for years. If you want some great Vietnamese food this is the place. I bring family and friends here when I want to impress them with what Fort Collins has to offer!

Young's was the first Vietnamese restaurant in Fort Collins and still the best. It's a Midtown mainstay with consistent quality, great service and a fun atmosphere for many, many years. It's a great place to take family, a business lunch, or a casual dinner.

I had a serious craving for their sesame deliciousness last night and realized that I've procrastinated on writing a review for this place for far too long. I should probably start by mentioning that it's entirely possible that I haven't really looked at their menu since the early 90's. "Why is that?" you might wonder. It's because I'm stuck in a rut. A "I've tried my favorites in other Vietnamese restaurants all over the US & nothing compares" rut. A "I love this stuff so much I don't even want to consider alternatives" rut. I'm not ashamed. Their sesame _____ (chicken, tofu and vegetables - I've had all) is so good, I can't pull myself away from it. It's different from any sesame dish I've had at any other restaurant. The batter is a little thicker than most, it's fried to perfection and the sauce is more flavorful - with a hint of spiciness - than any other sesame dish I've had. It's served over delicious, crispy rice noodles and with a plentiful serving of rice on the side. I normally get an order of the crystal rolls as well. The crystal rolls are rice noodles, lettuce, carrots & tofu or shrimp, all rolled up into a soft piece of rice paper and served with peanut sauce. Not just any peanut sauce, Young's' peanut sauce. The most delightul, thick, tasty, "can I please just get a side of that and eat it with a spoon" peanut sauce in the world. Yeah, I'll stand by that statement & challenge anyone to bring me better. The portions (at least for dinner) are large enough that I can get 2-3 meals out of one order. I tend to get take out rather than dine in more often than not, but whenever I have stayed for dinner, I've found the service to be attentive (not overbearing) and polite. Mmmmm...I'm off to enjoy those leftovers!

Cream cheese wontons not great. Sesame chicken tasted like salt. Slimy and old. East moon Is far superior. It surely surprises me to see east moon with less stars. This place is not deserving of 4 stars at all. Not going to come back here. Fried rice was orange and tasted old. This place is packed and I am At a loss to see why. Oh well. East moon. Not here. Final verdict.

I wasn't expecting to find good pho in northern colorado, but this is really close to some of the ones I've had back in the SF bay area. I had the chicken pho and a vietnamese iced coffee. They prepared the coffee for me at a table, and brought me fresh garnishes (thai basil, jalapeno, sprouts, and lime). They have only one size (I'm used to both small and large options), but it lasted for two meals. Kudos for good service!!

Delicious, fresh food for reasonable prices. The service is friendly, and the restaurant has a nice set up. Take out is available and fast. The crystal rolls and peanut sauce are both the best I've ever had. I love the sauces available; the Tropical Island (steak, chicken, and shrimp w veggies in a delicious brown sauce) is my usual go-to. I also love the sesame chicken/shrimp, and I appreciate that I can get them stir fried to avoid deep fried food.

MY CREDIBILITY I'm a Vietnamese-American from California, I've lived in the most Asian places in San Francisco, the OC (Westminster, Fountain Valley, Garden Grove), and San Diego. FOOD (Grade: B-) This isn't Vietnamese food, it's Asian fusion. It is Vietnamese-Chinese food (with a slight emphasis on Chinese). But it's a good blend of the two and it's good. It's kinda...gourmet, very restaurant produced in the sense that the entrees aren't things you'd see being consumed at a more casual Vietnamese restaurant. Even their ordinary dishes (i.e. fried rice) are vamped up to restaurant standards. Wide selection, and all of the dishes I've had have turned out to be good. There are times when the exact same entree taste more fresh than the last time I was there, so other than varying levels of freshness, the quality of food is high and consistent. Oh, and for God's sake, stop ordering what you think is Asian food. It's rare for such an establishment to make as authentic and as good of food as Young's does, so why would you come here to order pseudo-Asian entrees like sesame chicken, General Tso's, or cream cheese ragoons? You can get that crap anywhere. When you're here, I strongly encourage you to try something more authentic. But don't over do it by ordering something that sounds completely exotic, because some things are an acquired taste, and you might end up hating it. I recommend: Luc Lac Steak, House Tofu, Soft or Crispy Noodles. Of course there are many other things on the menu that are good, though these are rather "safe" dishes are they excel at most and it's not too foreign as to offend an American palate. If you're looking into trying some authentic and good (with a strong emphasis on authentic) then I suggest you start with those. SERVICE Could be better considering what you get stick with when the bill comes. Just average. AMBIANCE Relatively fancy place, the ambiance and the wait staff's uniforms make it a place of formality. PRICE Exactly what you'd expect for a moderately high end restaurant. Entrees range between $8-$25. OVERALL I've eaten better food in southern California for much cheaper. But this isn't southern California. The quality of the food at Young's is the minimum I expect out of any Asian restaurant, and because most other places in northern Colorado are so much worse in comparison, Young's capitalizes are their moderately superior cuisine by inflating the menu prices a bit. Although they could make the entrees more affordable, part of the experience is feeling like you're paying for quality, and considering the decor, I can't argue against that. The selection is what you'd expect, it's pretty standard fare and you've many options. I am disappointed with the service, however, considering I have to pay a tip that is a percentage of the final bill, which happens to be rather expensive and I often don't feel like the wait staff are truly deserving. I know they could do better. Young's is, unlike most Asian restaurants in the area, at least worthy of your money and stomach. YOUNG'S RECEIVES A FINAL GRADE OF B- (82%) SIDENOTE Honestly, if you're looking for Pho, don't come here. And if you think the Pho here is good, A--what's wrong with you?--and B, stop. Trust me, the Pho here isn't good. (Nor is it bad, really.) If you want Pho, you have two options: Saigon Grill in northeast Fort Collins or Pho Lan in Loveland. Just not here. Pho is a very casual Vietnamese dish, kinda like the Vietnamese burger. You don't come to a high end restaurant like this one to order Pho. (Pho Duy, the one in Fort Collins, is not an option. Pho Duy is owned by Korean-Americans who don't know what they're doing and you cannot call that Pho anymore.) OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS: Bann Thai, basically the Thai equivalent of Young's. They are similar in food presentation, cuisine preparation (vamping things up to restaurant standards with a polished and refined flavors but still maintaining that distinctly homemade taste), service, and ambiance.

Very good hodgepodge of primarily Southern and Eastern Asian food. Extensive menu, service is good. I noticed on other reviews that people tried the Pho - don't, it's about the worst thing they make and they have LOTS of other good entree choices. Parking can be a hassle.

One of the best Asian restaurants in town. Jill had garlic shrimp with veggies and I had a noodle dish. Both amazing. I started with egg drop soup which is very flavorful and has little bit of chicken in it. Great service and very friendly. We've been coming here for years.

Youngs has always been one of the go-tos for Asian food in FoCo. My preference has always been for their sesame chicken but I've recently discovered their pho. Both times I've ordered the Lemongrass Chicken Pho and it is so good! Spicy, filling, big portion...hit the spot! My sister ordered the Wonton Noodle soup and she loved it. Classic broth, LOTS of wontons, delicious. I imagine this winter, Youngs will be the place to go to warm up with a big bowl of pho.

One of my favorite places to eat in Fort Collins. Great food, lunch is super cheap, great service, super quick. Always keeps my drink full. This is how a restaurant should be ran.

Best Vietnamese food on Fort Collins! We split the beef noodle bowls with spring rolls and an extra side of spring rolls. We usually have an extra helping of he fish sauce. One of my favorites!

We come to Ft. Collins every couple months. Most visits end with us eating at this restaurant. The food is excellent. We have tried a variety of dishes and are always thrilled with the flavor and quality of the food.

My husband and I went here for dinner tonight, our first time at Young's. The food and service were both great!

$90 lunch (for one). Usually it's only about $8 for a decent lunch, here. However, don't leave your purse here, as apparently the patrons or waitstaff will help themselves to most of the cash out of your wallet ($80). Even if the purse is only there by itself for less than 10 mins. I'm not going back. Even though I've gone there for many years. I just don't condone that kind of behavior.

This is an Asian fusion restaurant and not Vietnamese food. All in all good. Got the fried spring rolls for an app kinda ordinary, filling was a bit of a oriental meat sausage??? Agree on the sesame chicken with everyone else - best in the area. Had the hot and spicy steak, which was good -not too sweet and the meat was very tender . Vietnamese style fried rice was also very good- lighter than those typical fried rices you find out there. Table service was also very good. I'd eat here again if in area. Very similar to Lou Lou's on college in town which I think is a bit better and has nicer atmosphere.

Between our housemates and our family of four, we have eaten here over 10 times in the last 6 months, and it is very dependable for service, food quality, price, taste. We lived in Japan for 6 years, and are kind of snobs when it comes to food. Have never ordered a dish we didn't like. Much, much better than any of the other Chinese and Vietnamese we've had around town. I would say the only negative is that is always busy (with good reason). Thanks, Youngs!

I've been eating at Young's for about 5 years now and I've never come across a dish that I didn't like. My favorite go-to's are the crab cheese wontons and shrimp fried rice. Amazing. Super friendly staff as well.

Whether it is Vietnamese or Chinese I don't know, but I also don't care. It is delicious, fresh and my go-to restaurant for my chinese/vietnamese cravings. It is a family friendly restaurant, but also good for a date, business dinner or birthday. The service is friendly (especially waiter Wong, you rock!), the food is great and they have great priced adult beverages - $4 martinis $3.50 imports. Favorites: entrees come with steamed rice Won Ton Noodle Soup: Large bowl of steaming hot clear broth, 3-4 bok choy, 8-9 golf ball sized pork dumplings and a generous portion of noodles. You could have this as a meal or share it as a starter soup. Pork Spring Rolls - 3 cigar sized crispy spring rolls stuffed with savory ground pork and served cut in half (great for sharing) on a bed of lettuce with sliced carrot, cucumber and rice noodles as edible garnish. clear hot and sweet dipping sauce on the side. Duck Ro Ti - Whole duck with crispy brown skin (not breaded!) served cut into large pieces for easy devouring. Meat is juicy, rich and very flavorful. It comes with a creamy sauce accented with peanut on the side, but is delicious plain if you like Asian style duck. Chicken with Broccoli and brown sauce - This can be ordered from the build-your-own dish section of the menu. You pick the meat and sauce - everyone gets what they want. The chicken was all white meat and tender, the broccoli was bright green and crisp, the sauce was your standard tasty brown goodness - not too salty or oily. A classic Chinese-American style meal. I would also recommend their seafood options, particularly the scallop dishes. On a diet? Try the steamed veggie basket with your favorite meat. While this won't make your taste buds go crazy, it is a very light option with lots of fresh veggies that wont make you feel guilty the next day. It is accompanied by a soy/(rice vinegar maybe?) based dipping sauce that adds a nice light flavor. Not so favorite: The House Duck was a disappointment for me. It is breaded and fried, chopped into bite sized pieces then tossed in a brown sauce which results in soggy and somewhat fatty bites. To me, duck has such an awesome flavor on its own - and this sauce covered rather than complimented that.

To be honest, I did not have high expectations of Young's being that on my entire trip to Colorado, I could count the Asian people I encountered on one hand, with that being said, the food here was surprisingly legit! I got the chicken lemongrass soup, and my fiance got the seafood version. Both bowls came packed with meat/seafood and noodles. Typically I can finish a bowl of soup without any problems, but with my bowl, there was so much juicy chicken in there I could barely finish! My only complaint is that the bean sprouts weren't the freshest, but I'm not a huge fan of those anyway. My conclusion? If I'm ever in this hood again, we'll be sure to stop by.

I'm updating my former review as I've become addicted to their Pho, and an addict will say or do anything to feed their addiction. Plus their grilled pork over rice is scrumptious. But the Pho, oh the Pho.... yes I've had better, but this stuff really hits the spot on a cold winter day. Just make sure to add plenty of fish sauce, plenty of hoison sauce (the darker, more viscous of the sauces) and plenty of chile paste if you can handle it. Plus the service is great. Never a problem, fast as all get out, whether dining in or getting take out.

Probably the best Chinese food in Fort Collins. Service is excellent. The food was OK but nothing to write home about. Too bad they don't deliver.

There are many times that I feel like I'm living a double life - a Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde of sorts. I take the kids to whatever activities they are scheduled for, sign them up for sports, shuffle them around town, but still schedule meetings and work on business development. Am I a stay-at-home mom or am I an entrepreneur? I write restaurant reviews, eating everything I tell my clients not to eat, but still train sessions at the gym everyday. Am I a food writer or am I a personal trainer? It may be more fitting to think of myself as Frankenstein - a mish-mash of everything all rolled up into one. This is exactly what Young's Cafe is. A Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde - Is it Vietnamese? Is it Chinese? It's the "Oriental Catch-All," so it's a Frankenstein of both. Our meals at Young's have been along the lines of satisfactory, for the most part. Service has been fantastic and we're always met with a smile. I kind of like their bipolar menu, the collection of different dishes to create an oriental Frankenstein experience. There's a dish to fit any mood, preference or craving!

Standard Americanized Vietnamese and Chinese which is good if you like that stuff... It gets three stars only because the lunch is a pretty good deal.

They say it's Vietnamese, but if you're looking for some authentic Vietnamese food, I'd look elsewhere. The majority of the menu is pretty much generic Chinese food. I'm not saying it's not good, but it's not the Vietnamese cuisine I was expecting. The food is still pretty tasty and is a good deal, just not rock-my-socks-off Asian food.

Un-phogettable! I was hesitant when I first moved to Fort Collins to try anything that claimed to be Asian cuisine. Coming from Seattle, where there is a plethora of teriyaki and chinese on every street corner, I knew what I liked and was hoping to find something that I could call authentic Asian. I came here one evening by the suggestion of a co-worker and ordered the meal she had earlier that week. It's called the "house tidbits." Sounds kind of disgusting but it's the bomb dot com. It consist of vermicelli noodles with cucumbers, bean sprouts, spring roll and then your choice of meat. My favorite is the grilled pork. The marinade they use is similar to korean bulgogi. This place became one my favorites. I visited so often that as soon as I walked in the door they new what I was going to order without me saying anything. One time I actually forgot to order my meal with just pork only and the owner came out to remind me and fixed my mistake. How cool is that! The staff is so friendly and the atmosphere is great. They also have a gigantic fish tank in the front which is very popular with the kids. Whenever this fat girl returns to Fort Collins you can be sure she'll make a trip here.

I wanted to write a new review so I could put a couple picture with it. I have never been disappointed at a meal here. Every group I have went with thought the sesame chicken was one of the best they had eaten. The curry chicken is very good, tender meat and moderate strength to curry. Not over whelming, just write. Port in a clay pot is supper good. The port is so tender. This was my surprise dish. I usually like to go with one or two others so we can share meals.

It's been a long time since I have been here, but it was one of my favorite places to eat in Fort Fun. Great prices, authentic food, and great service all make this place a must visit for some quality Asian food. The only bad thing is the crappy location. A bit difficult to get to.

Why in the world the best Vietnamese food I have had in the USA is in Ft. Collins, CO is beyond me, but this is the place. Have the spicy seafood Pho and you will see what I mean. What a delightful surprise!

I love this place for lunch. Their service is fast and you get some good food at a fair price. I prefer the pho at another place in town but their peanut beef and sesame chicken are hard to beat. I also have a love affair with the crispy spring rolls. I have always had great service here and the owners are friendly.

Young's Vietnamese is amazing, there are so many delicious things on the menu. It's the type of place where you can't go wrong ordering. My personal favorites are the Sesame Chicken, Hot N' Spicy Chicken and Vinegar Beef (much tastier than it sounds). The soft noodles and fried rice combos are great too. They have a different soup each day rather than a selection. None of the soups are bad but I'd go for the chicken and rice soup every time if I had a say in it. The lunch specials are a great deal and a good way to try the place out.

I haven't had the opportunity to eat at Young's since I moved from the area ten years ago. We were up in Ft Collins last night and decided to hit Young's, hoping it was as good as my husband and I remembered. It was. the appetizers we had were Crab Rangoon and fried pork dumplings. My only complaint is that I don't like cilantro, so the sauce that came with the dumplings wasn't to my taste, although my husband liked it. The rangoon was crispy and the filling was good, although maybe could have used a touch more crab. My main dish was Lemon Chicken, a stand by of mine. Two pounded, breaded chicken breasts in a lemon sauce that was not too lemon, not too sweet and not too thick. My biggest complaint is often you get lemon sauce that tastes like thickened-to-paste Koolaid lemonaid. This sauce is light and perfectly balanced. My husband had the Pepper Steak. His only complaint was the onions in the dish were just a touch under cooked, but not so significantly that it ruined the dish. The decor is asian but not kitchy. Very understated. The service was attentive with out being obnoxious. I am hoping we will find more reasons to make the trip up to Ft Collins.

Probably the best Vietnamese food I ever had and certainly one of my favorite Asian restaurants. Ever! They got desserts now too which is a added bonus. During lunch the spring roll salad(I think is what it is called) is great and the Bird's Nest is not too shabby either!

I wish Yelp let you give half stars, because I think this would be more of a 3.5 I liked my food but wouldn't go so far as to say it's the best i've ever had. I had the curry and crystal rolls (because I saw so many recommendations on them and looooooove them). I thought the crystal rolls were fresh tasting and good, but not memorable - and they're normally one of my favorite things on the menu. The curry was tasty - just the right amount of spice. I had it with chicken, which was cooked well... but there seemed to be a lot of onions relative to the other vegetables. I still enjoyed it though! And... I liked my fortune. I always appreciate that at the end of my meal :) The lunch options looked great - I have a feeling I'd frequent Young's over lunch if I could!

Really good Viet food. I've only had a few of their entrees simply because they are too good for me to even try anything else. The service is very friendly. Down side is the parking, but once you can get pass that everything else is good.

I have been eating at Young's for years now with my friends. Always go on a Saturday or Sunday and indulge on their Asian delights! I adore Young's purely for nostalgia factor, but it IS a wonderful restaurant. Wonder soups and the Sesame Chicken is KILLER.

Young's is one of our family favorites. My daughter loves the sesame chicken, she orders it every time we visit. I have several favorites, it just depends on my mood. I can rarely get out of there without ordering the crystal rolls, they are simple but delicious. The wait staff and owners are always friendly, and truly seem glad to see you when they greet you at the front door. For the best deal in town, head there for lunch. The prices are more than reasonable, and the combos are perfect.

Young's has been one of my favorite restaurants for many, many years! My parents took me as a child, and I now take my own children. I have yet to meet a kid who doesn't like their Sesame Chicken. The Pepper Garlic Dungeness Crab and Spring Rolls are simply amazing! Great service, family friendly, delicious coffee

Bush league at best... Classic american chinese fair, vietnamese wasn't part of the equation here. They have many "Best Asian Food" in FoCo awards and honestly.... REALLY!! They don't serve Pho come on! Not Vietnamese and not even good

When we were looking for a house in Fort Collins our realtor recommended Young's stating that whenever her kids came back for a visit this is one of the restaurants they have to eat at. Well, enough said, we ate at Young's that same evening and have since been back many, many times. The food is quality, the portions are HUGE, the service is friendly and attentive, and the place is clean. Their to go is packaged nicely and always ready in like 10 minutes. I really appreciate that they understand want it means to be vegetarian - no meat based broths, no fish sauces, etc., very courteous and respectful of our dietary restrictions. Some favorites are the Vegetable Crystal Rolls, the Basil Eggplant, Garlic Eggplant, Tofu with Garlic Sauce, the hot Jasmine Tea, oh and the Grilled Tofu Bowl at lunch but with the Peanut Sauce instead of the fish sauce! Yummy Zummy! I am going to have to eat here for dinner tonight!!! I like that Young's has a comfortable patio area too (although sometimes that darn train blowing the horn like it is going out of style stops conversation for a bit!). I have been to Young's with really large groups and they do a phenomenal job getting us seated right away, making sure everyones food arrives together, keeping drinks full and diners happy. Young's is so affordable too, seriously 2 entrees with an appetizer and drinks is like $25!!!

atmosphere: 4 food: 3.5 service: 4.5 typical American vietnamese cuisine in the FC! They've got the aquariums which make for something fun to look at. You will never wait long. As for recommendations: -50% get a superbowl. I'd go with Pork. Most Asian seasonsings are enhanced on pork! the vermicelli is always over cooked though... -the other 50% get sesame chicken. The sesame chicken is actually done pretty well. If you're looking for deep fried sesame chicken w/ a tasty sauce, I'd hit Young's up. Plus the portion if pretty healthy (and by healthy, I really mean it's unhealthy...) vietnamese coffee and thai tea available too. the owners and staff are always very nice. hello, it's FC.
